Chloe O’Doherty

Chloe’s creative transformation came when she became a mother, shedding her art director eye and embracing the camera.

Her lived experience of motherhood with all its many faces from joy and pure love to sheer exhaustion and worry are all part of her process when she chooses to capture the moments of a baby or child’s everyday life. 

This unwavering authenticity in her work has meant that her portraits take on an honesty and intimacy without interrupting her subjects’ play, slumber or emotions in a documentary style that is a testament of her passion for telling the stories of her subjects.  

She believes that real is so much more interesting than perfect.
