Luminaries NPC

We asked a simple question. “Where are all the African women photographers?” Receiving no answer we decided to take that step to change things. Lampost Luminaries was launched in February 2020. The NPC is committed to up-skilling African women (and those who identity as women) photographers and videographers. Our goal is to fast-track the careers of women stepping into the commercial world as post graduate photographers and photo-enthusiasts needing a break to get into the big world of commercial photography. Fuelled by a community spirit, we nurture these women and mentor them to deliver impactful work with a unique visual edge.
